These adorable plant samples have been occupying my life so much that I can almost say that I eat them for breakfast. I don't, obviously. They are specimens for my plantscaping class, but I take care of a few potted ones myself. Plants are freaking underrated, man. I could marvel at their beauty all day. It's unfortunate that my camera and photography skills are pitiful, so let me take the liberty of sharing one of my recent favorite nature-inspired photography websites:
STILL is mainly a photo-diary of natural objects gathered and captured on camera by Mary Jo Hoffman. Using simplistic lighting and white background, she highlights the subject's natural beauty and details often unappreciated by the naked eye.

These are so beautiful! x
ReplyDeleteOh, these are so pretty! They remind me of the ten-year-old cactus I have. It was originally grown as a science experiment in third grade, so I can't believe it's still alive and thriving.
